Dear customer, We are pleased to inform you of the latest developments in our Van Meerbeeck growth story. Effective June 1, 2023, Van Meerbeeck Metalen NV will expand its reach by acquiring 100% of the shares of Staal Service Vlaanderen NV, formerly Mechelse Metalen.
Since its founding in 1875 as a small but ambitious family business in the steel trade, Van Meerbeeck has grown over five generations into the company you know today, with three locations in Hoogstraten, Wilrijk, and Melle. Its strong focus is on quality products and services, such as our study advice and various processing options.
To further enhance your future business, Van Meerbeeck will now offer its range of high-quality products and services from its centrally located depot on the E-19 in Mechelen. Thanks to this convenient and easily accessible location, our Wilrijk warehouse will be integrated into this network sometime this autumn.
Van Meerbeeck will ultimately continue to operate from three locations. With a larger inventory, more colleagues, and optimized operations to better meet your needs and challenges now more than ever.
